  • Alarmfunction for Fii-Posh

    The alarm function in radio mode is limited available when the UKW/DAB signal is weak, as the signal strength is key for playing radio. That’s why customer may realize a soft “beep” noise instead of the saved radio station. This noise is a warn signal which indicates to the weak UKW/DAB signal.

     
    In order to increase the signal quality, customers may take into account to extend the antenna or to re-position the unit in the room.
     
    As an alternative, customer may consider to set the alarm function in “beep” mode instead of radio mode.

  • Snooze time setting, I only see 5 and 10 min, how can I change it?

    The duration of the alarm has been set to 15 minutes. When setting the alarm it is possible to choose the duration of the alarm; if you have chosen „15min“, the Snooze time cannot exceed the alarm duration.
     

  • When connecting external amplifiers, what do I have to pay attention to?

    External speakers can be connected using Line-Out. Only speakers with a built-in amplifier can be used. The adjustment of volume takes place on the HDigit device. If the external speakers offer volume adjustment regulation, you can also use this for additional volume setting.
     

  • Lyrics and songtitles are not shown, what’s the reason?

    • In the DAB+ mode only the radio stations playing are shown. Unfortunately, lyrics are not yet part of the stations’ repertoire.
    • For the Internet mode a standard has not yet been fixed for playing internet radio stations. That’s why technical realisation is difficult or possible only by additional portals with certain chip modules. There are some internet radio stations that have therefore introduced a special service, which is very complicated and cannot be quickly implemented for HDigit.
     

  • Is it possible to stream internet urls directly?

    Yes, all HDigit Internet Radios do support direct streaming thru Internet urls.
     

  • Can WLAN be totally shut down?

    Yes, WLAN shuts off automatically when the device is not used, this is also true for devices offering a RJ-45 connection. In this way, a minimal radiation level will be guaranteed.
     

  • Is it possible to select Presets in a mixed order?

    The radio is working in a certain mode when stations are selected and stored (Internet-mode, DAB-mode or FM-mode. That’s why you can use the station space for example „1“ up to 3 times and store another station in every mode.
     

  • My device suddenly stops. What can I do?

    The sudden „suspension“ of a device depends on the DAB+ signal. If the signal is not strong enough  and the device uses the time synchronisation in the DAB mode, it can cause a „suspension“ of the device. We recommend you adjust the DAB receipt, extending the telescope antenna and orientation or change the location of the device. Alternatively, time synchronization can be switched off in DAB mode.
